Our project, inspired by previous iGEM teams, addresses eutrophication’s environmental impact on rivers and oceans. Eutrophication, driven by excessive algae growth, harms ecosystems by depleting oxygen levels through photosynthesis. Typical treatments discard excess algae, creating waste.
